Chocolate salami

Ingredients
  • 150gr dark chocolate
  • 150gr soft butter
  • 100gr sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 50gr dark cocoa powder
  • 150gr savoiardi
  • 50gr shelled almonds

Preparation of the recipe

Chop the dark chocolate and melt it in a bain-marie, then let it cool.

Meanwhile, mix butter and sugar in a separate bowl with a whip.

Add the yolks, one at the time, and make sure all the ingredients are perfectly mixed for a homogeneous mixture.

Add the cocoa powder and then the warm chocolate.

Crumble the savoiardi biscuits with your hands, chop the shelled almonds and incorporate both to the chocolate mixture.

Take a sheet of baking paper, pour the mixture in the center, and shape it with your hands to replicate the appearance of a salami.

Wrap the paper around it and close the extremities.

Refrigerate the roll for approximately 5 hours.
