Panfoglie

Panfoglie (also known as “bread parchments”) are leaves of bread baked in the oven. The original recipe is linked to the Sardinian tradition. They are very light and crunchy.

Characterized by the golden color of Sardinian bread, the panfoglie are made with durum wheat semolina, water, yeast, salt and top quality olive oil. They represent the encounter between the simplicity of the ingredients and the richness of taste.

The panfoglie are very good to taste alone, also excellent accompanied by cheeses and cold cuts. They can be used in elaborate recipes such as millefoglie dessert and salty pies.
